If you happened to be in Missouri on August 21st, you have to stick around for the total solar eclipse. However, if you aren’t in the Missouri area you can definitely still catch a partial solar eclipse. The best spot will be Oklahoma City and the partial eclipse will begin at 11:37 am, with maximum eclipse being at 1:05pm, and ending at 2:34 pm. On the 21st, the high in Oklahoma City will be a whopping 94 degrees, so be sure to prepare accordingly. Also, do not forget to grab a pair of solar eclipse viewing safety glasses that a certified to work. You will want to be able to see the next day! Be sure to check out your local libraries, musuems and parks for viewing parties.
