1. Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge-
With over 59,000 acres of ancient mountains and prairies, the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge boasts wildlife of all kinds roaming among the most picturesque landscapes you can't ignore. You'll find free ranging bison herds, Texas Longhorn cattle, bobcats and coyote; and the view from the top of Mount Scott provides picturesque scenes of the lakes and rock formation with some of the best hiking trails around.

3. Black Mesa Area- The Black Mesa Plateau is Oklahoma's highest point, at 4,973 feet. From the top, visitors get a wide open view of the the tri- state area(Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico) . The Nature Preserve is home to rare wildlife such as the Golden Eagle, the black bear, and the bighorn sheep, and there are over 30 RV campsites available to anyone wanting to stay the night.
